I would just like to know where to draw the line between free floating anxiety and something like bipolar II disorder? I do not get really depressed and I don't think I get anything like any form of hypomania. That being said, I do seem to carry around a free floating anxiety of some kind. It is irritating but I still carry out my daily responsibilities without too much trouble. It is just that the anxiety, when I have it (often), is distracting and very annoying. I am trying a low dose of Lexapro (SSRI) recommended by my doctor but the free floating anxiety keeps coming back. Any thoughts? Thanks!
